Tokyo Subway 24/48/72 hours Ticket
What is this?
The Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway 13 lines, over 250 stations that you can use freely with the Tokyo Subway Pass. Suica and PASMO are prepaid IC cards with no fare discounts! If you plan to use the subway multiple times in a day, the Tokyo Subway Ticket is advantageous!

How to distinguish Tokyo subway lines
The subway lines in the picture above are the ones you can use with the Tokyo Metro Pass.
Out of the entire Tokyo subway network, only Toei lines and Tokyo Metro are covered by this pass!
JR East lines (JR lines) are not covered by the Tokyo Metro Pass, so please be aware! Even if you have the Tokyo Metro Pass, you’ll need separate tickets for JR lines.
Tokyo Subway 24/48/72 hours Ticket, Types and Prices

As you can see in the picture above, there are three types of Tokyo Metro Passes.
24-hour ticket
Adult 800 yen, Child 400 yen
If you use it more than 5 times in 24 hours, it’s definitely worth it!
48-hour ticket
Adult 1200 yen, Child 600 yen
If you use it more than 4 times in 48 hours, it’s definitely worth it!
72-hour ticket
Adult 1500 yen, Child 750 yen
If you use it more than 3 times in 72 hours, it’s definitely worth it!
The validity period is based on the time the ticket is issued and is indicated on the back of the ticket.
The time calculation is based on the issuance time. We will explain more about issuance and issuance time below.

Notes
· Japanese passport holders cannot use this pass.
· Children aged 0-5 can travel for free except in the following cases:
(An adult with a pass can bring up to 2 children for free; if there are 3 or more children, an extra child fare is needed) (If a child is traveling alone)
· It can be transferred regardless of the name on the reservation.
· The valid time is printed on the physical ticket when passing through the ticket gate.
· If you enter a station within the valid time, you can exit the station even if the valid time has passed.
· If the ticket is not used within the specified validity date, it cannot be used anymore.
